African Medical Healthcare Foundation

AMHF has supported the work of the Rehab Surgery Program and The Plaster House since 2010, both with grants to cover costs of children's surgery and rehabilitation, and with partnering with Watsi. AMHF also provides fundraising tools to benefit The Plaster House program. www.amhf.us

Arusha Lutheran Medical Centre

The Plaster House was established as the residential center for the Rehab Surgery Programme, a project of the Arusha Lutheran Medical Centre (ALMC). ALMC is a hospital of the ELCT – North Central Diocese, established in 2008, it is the hospital where most of the medical care for our children is carried out.

The International Federation for Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus support activities around the ongoing rehabilitation and care for children presenting with spina bifida and hydrocephalus. www.ifglobal.org

Impact UK

Impact UK provides grants to the Rehab Surgery Program to treat children who are living with ‘needless disability’. They also have supported the outreach program to identify children with disabilities who require corrective surgery. www.impact.org.uk

Miracle Feet

Miracle Feet partner our clinic and support care of children with clubfeet, by providing training in the Ponseti method and materials to ensure best practice for clubfoot correction. www.miraclefeet.org

Smile Train

Smile Train ‘gives every child a chance to smile’. They support surgical costs for children with cleft lip and palate. www.smiletrain.org

Tencent Foundation

Tencent Foundation is China’s largest online platform for philanthropy and charitable donations. Over the last year, Tencent Foundation and Watsi has been working together to fund many of the operations for children here at the Plaster House.

 

Watsi
